Diagnostics & Disassembly
Diagnostic work starts with external checks, module scans and live data review. If the diagnostic method requires disassembling trims, components, panels or parts, customer approval will be requested before completing that work.
Reports & Faults
Vehicle diagnostics can include a pre-diagnostic and post-diagnostic report. Any faults identified before or after a service remain the responsibility of the vehicle owner unless separately agreed in writing.
Remap Suitability
A vehicle health check may be completed before remap work. Royal Drive may refuse tuning where the vehicle is not considered suitable or where existing faults could affect reliability.
Mechanical Condition
Performance tuning can highlight weak components such as turbos, injectors, clutches, gearboxes, boost pipes and DPF-related parts. Mechanical and electrical components have their own service life and are not warranted by tuning work.
Results & Insurance
Power, torque and economy gains are approximate and vary by vehicle, condition, fuel, maintenance and driving style. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify their insurance company of any ECU remap or modification.
Software Services
Software services are provided according to the requested and agreed scope. Some services may be for off-road, export or motorsport use only depending on legal requirements and vehicle use.
